About the DataCloud

In the |datacloud|_, you can store data related to your projects. 
The service is available to ZMT employees and their scientific partners. 

If you want to get a project folder in the |datacloud|_, please get in touch with your work group leader. 
They will :ref:`request a folder <request-folder>` for your project (your Master, PhD or Postdoc project, your collaboration project, 
your third party project or any other big or small project). You will get access to 
a project folder with a :ref:`predefined structure <folder-structure>`.

Using the |datacloud|_ will help you to organize your research data, 
applications, grants, articles and everything else around your project in one place. 

The |datacloud|_ can be accessed from your :ref:`browser <online-access>`, via the :ref:`OwnCloud client <desktop-access>` on your PC, or via the :ref:`OwnCloud app <app-access>` on a mobile device.
