Metadata Editor

The Research Data Service is currently developing a user-friendly solution for you to create metadata files that will take into consideration general metadata standards and assist you in implementing Good Scientific Practice.

You will find the metadata editor in the ZMT DataCloud menue in the upper left. You can login with your firstname.lastname as username and ZMT DataCloud password. By guiding you through the tabs “Basics”, “Authors”, “Projects” and “Events” the metadata editor will support you to generate a metadata file for your dataset that includes the minimum information necessary for a FAIR data approach. You can save the metadata generated in the editor as JSON file and include it into your respective ZMT DataCloud subfolder alongside the described dataset.
